Academic Bowl Team
The Academic Bowl Team is an academic based team with the main goal being to prepare students for school exams and exams such as the SAT and ACT. Selected members of this team will participate in Academic Competition against other JROTC units from around the United States. Teams compete for the chance of competing in the Academic Championship held in Washington, DC, with all expenses paid. The Academic Bowl team is commanded by C/Major Adhishta Sharma
Aerospace Team
The Aerospace Team is a team based on aerospace science with the main goal exposing students to airplanes and other different aircrafts. Selected members of this team will participate in different projects, flight simulations, lessons, and multi-copter flights. This club has a meeting every Friday. The Aerospace Club is commanded by C/Second Lieutenant Jarrett Stoll and C/Tech Jaynor Sudaria.
Drill Team/Color Guard
The Drill Team develops self-confidence, teamwork, skill, and pride in the unit. The team may perform in regulation and fancy drill, whether that is in a flight, squad, or element format. Drill team incorporates the use of weapons (rifles). The Color guard teams will consist of a minimum of four members and it is commanded by C/First Lieutenant Zachary Cunningham & Dreyson Clark. Tryouts are held during the second semester of the school year; the Drill Team is coached by MSgt. Cribb and is commanded by C/Lt. Colonel Ja'Travious Ingram & C/ Major Princess Zapanta.
Kitty Hawk Air Society
The Kitty Hawk Air Society is the academic honor society of Air Force JROTC. Its purpose is to promote high academic standards, achievement, as well as promote community service, and initiative. Kitty Hawk also aids in the development of leadership abilities and its members‘ knowledge of the Air Force's role in the history of aerospace. Kitty Hawk Air Society Badge is awarded to cadets who are members of the Kitty Hawk Air Society who have completed 5 service events of 15 community service hours. The Kitty Hawk Air Society is commanded by C/Second Lieutenant Andrew Alton.
Raider Team
The Raider Team is a physical training based team with the main goal being to promote to students a healthy life style and to be aware of the world around. Teams compete at different events hosted by other schools around the area. The Raider team is commanded by C/Captain Jocelyn Patino.
Sabre Team
Saber team is the JROTC ceremonial team. The team performs with swords at school events and the JROTC Military Ball. The team consists of 16 members and broken up into two teams. This team is known for the swords and ceremonial bearing.
